Doctors

I would like to ask why people are afraid of doctors. In the end, they just try to make us feel better or to solve a problem. Maybe, the idea of a doctor is associated with pain for some invasive analysis, or illness, or feeling bad, together with long waiting times in non optimal conditions. I think that most of the time we are afraid of the fact that they tell us to do something, or to take some medicaments, and we mostly have no idea of how these magic pills should let us feel better or the exercise should help our physical conditions. It basically then implies a blind trust in their knowledge, understanding and capability to offer the right solution to our problem. I can imagine that nobody likes to give such blind trust to, more or less, strangers.

Still, if you are sick, there is no other god possibility than going to the doctor, fear or less. So, what we can do is to try to check on the analysis results all the words we do not know and find out what they mean - internet, or the good old vocabulary (how many people actually still use a paper one?). At least we will be able to understand a bit more of what the doctor says.
On the other side, we can just try not to get sick. Not necessarily all in our influence, but good nutrition habits and a bit of exercise already will make us stronger and allow us to get less sick of saisonal deseases.
But probably these are the good purposes of someone who just got there and does not want to go back. Just a week or two of being healthy, and it will seem "normal", and will lose the perception of its value and exceptionability.
